Parents of Elementary Age Students: We have been receiving several requests pertaining to recess and keeping kids inside when they are not feeling 100%. As a school, we send all students outside unless there is a note from the doctor. We do not have the staffing to accommodate all requests during recess time. If you feel your child is in fact sick, we would encourage you to keep him/her home to allow some time to get better.
Cold weather is here and we want to make sure that all students have the appropriate winter clothing. Children that ride the bus also need to have proper clothing. If you are in need of any items, please check with the school.
We celebrated American Education Weektoday with a volleyball game Elementary Teachers vs. High School Teachers. The High School teachers were victorious winning 2-0.
Monday November 14th Announcements:
1. HS GBB practice will be in Hatton after school.
2. Elementary boys basketball will practice after school today.
3. Drama practice will be from 6:30-8:30 tonight Northwood tonight.
4. 7-12 grade boys that are playing basketball, please make sure to sign up on the coaches room door.
5. Congratulations to Derek Carpenter, Drew Handly, Beau Enger, and Trevin Hins for finishing 1st as a team in the Mayville State University Math Meet last week. Of the 40 students attending, Beau finished 2nd, Drew finished 3rd, and Derek finished 4th as individuals.
6. FBLA students please come and put up your Pizza forms from Mrs. Lorenz.
7. New members to the National Honor Society will have a meeting in Ms. Wood's room at 8am Thursday morning.

The Region 2 volleyball tournament schedule has been updated due to Thursday’s weather forecast. The games scheduled for Thursday will now take place on Wednesday, November 9th. The 3rd place match will begin at 1:00pm followed by the championship and awards presentation.

Players will be dismissed at 1:05 and leave at 1:15 on bus #4. Any students that plan to leave early to go to the game, need to have a parent call the school to excuse them.
