5. Congratulations to all of yesterday’s Concordia Track Meet participants. These athletes placed in the top 8 in their events: Ella Holkesvig-2nd in Triple Jump, 8th in Long Jump, 5th in 4x200 relay, 7th in 4x400 relay; Jenna Soine-3rd in 1600, 7th in 4x400 relay, 1st in 3200 and setting a new indoor record of 12:21; Brynley Coleman-5th in 4x200 relay, 5th in 55 meter hurdles, 1st in pole vault with a new school record jump of 9’6”. The Girls Team placed 2nd behind a tough Kindred team.

1. Track practice will be in Northwood after school and athletes will be riding on bus #4.
2. Congratulations to all of the participants from the Red River Valley Indoor Track last Friday: Brynley Coleman placed 1st in the pole vault, 7th in the 60 meter hurdles, and 3rd in the 4X400 relay.

5. Good luck to the HS Softball team as they host Fargo Davies in Mayville at 4pm. Players will be leaving at 2:35.

Thunder Robotics students are selling raffle tickets to help fund their upcoming trip to the World Championships in Houston. Tickets can be purchased from the Robotics students or at the Hatton Eielson school office.

1. Good luck to our track team as they compete at UND tonight at 5pm. Athletes will be dismissed at 3pm and leave at 3:10 on Northwood bus #5.
2. Good luck to our HS Baseball teams as they travel to Park River tonight with games starting at 3pm. Players will be dismissed at 12:20 and leaving at 12:30 on bus #4.

6. Seniors: The Dollars for Scholars application is due today.

8. The 5th grade class will be holding a Candy cart sale April 4th - 8th. They will be selling Ring Pops, Warheads, AirHeads and Candy bars. They will be coming to each class from 3-3:30. All proceeds will go to the Hatton Food Pantry. The elementary class who brings in the most money will win a pizza party.

6. Reminder that there is a fall/winter Sports Awards Night is tonight in Northwood at 7:00 in the auditorium.

Hatton-Northwood TSA Does well at State Conference
On March 21st and 22nd, The HNTSA attended the 2022 state conference in Mandan, ND. Mr. Foss along with chaperone Mr. Beaudoin, took 20 students to compete in events that they have been working on throughout the school year. There was the opening meeting on Monday along with the annual business meeting Tuesday morning. In between, the chapter competed in 12 different events and did the communities proud by placing in most of the events. Also, Jaida Vivier and Hannah Scholand were elected to the 2022-23 Officer team at the conference. The students represented their schools very well and worked hard both busy days. Here is a list of the winners from the conference. Congratulations to all of Saturday's Track meet participants, the following athletes placed in the top 8 in their event: Kevin Holiday-8th in the High Jump; Lauren Soine-3rd in the 3000 meter run; Jenna Soine-1st in the 3000 meter run; Jenna Soine-3rd in the 4X600 meter relay. The girls team placed 3rd out of 11 teams and the boys team placed 10 out of 11 teams.
7. Congratulations to the Thunder Robotics team as they are the 2022 Great Northern Regional Champions! Team 876 finished with an unbeaten record of 15-0-1 to claim the top prize and bring home the blue banner. The team and robot "Dillon" earned a berth at the World Championships in Houston.
8. Congratulations to our youth wrestlers! MPCG-Hatton Patrioteers Jack Brend, Archer Johnson, and Aksel Johnson, and Bison Wrestling's Mason Smith participated in the ND USA Wrestling Folkstyle Championships this weekend in Bismarck. The event hosted over 1400 wrestlers from across ND. Aksel Johnson placed 4th in the 12U 108lb weight class.
