Friday September 13th Announcements:
1. No JH/HS FB practice today.
2. HS VB practice will be in Northwood after school.
3. Good luck to the Cross Country team at their meet at MSUM today starting at 4pm. Athletes will be dismissed at 1:20 and leave at 1:30.
4. Good luck to the Varsity Golf team at their meet in Grafton today. JH/JV golf practice will be in Northwood after school.
5. Elementary girl basketball practice will be after school.
6. Sources of Strength peer leaders: please check your email for an important announcement if you already haven't.
7. Participation for Thunder wear Friday is at 82% today. Keep up the school spirit!

Congratulations to the 2024 Homecoming Royalty: King Candidates - Will Ness, Eddie Pekrul and Brody Johnson. Queen candidates - Brooklyn Galde, Alicia Foss, Taryn Munkeby and Hannah Scholand . Coronation will be Monday, September 23rd at 3pm in the main gym.
Elementary had their MMO (Monthly Morning Opening) and the August Students of the month are: 6th Grade - Addy Iverson; 5th Grade - Tessa Askim; 4th Grade - Remmi Amb; 3rd Grade - Jayce Pawlowski; 2nd Grade - Liam Davis; 1st Grade - Mabel Beaudoin; K - Scarlett Smith. The class of the month for August was the Kindergarten class.
Thursday September 12th Announcements:
1. JH/ HS FB practice will be in Northwood after school and will be riding on bus #4.
2. Good luck to the HS VB teams as they travel to Cando today with games starting at 5:15. Players will be dismissed at 2pm and will be leaving at 2:10pm.
3. JH VB practice will be in Northwood after school and will be riding on bus #4.
4. Cross Country practice will be in Northwood after school.
5. Girls Golf practice will be at the course.
6. Good luck to the elementary girls basketball team as they host Hillsboro today with games starting at 4:15pm.

2. Good luck to our JH/HS VB teams as host PRFL tonight in Northwood with the 7th grade game starting at 4pm in the alumni gym and the C squad starting at 4:45 in the main gym. JH players will be dismissed at 2:45 and leave at 2:55 and HS players will be leaving at 3:40.
3. Cross Country practice will be in Northwood.
4. Good luck to our JH/JV golfers at their meet in Northwood today. Varsity practice will be after school.
5. Good luck the Elementary GBB teams as they travel to Larimore today with games starting at 4pm. Players will be leaving at 2:50pm.

2. JH/HS VB pictures and practice will be in Northwood after school. Players will be riding on the mini bus.
3. Cross country picture day and practice will be in Northwood.
4. Girls Golf practice will be in Northwood.
5. The September Reading Challenge has begun! Read 300 minutes to throw a water balloon at your teacher! High school students will have the opportunity to throw a water balloon at Mr. Derrick Strand or Ms. Wood and have a chance to win an Ampride gift card. To be able to be a part of the end of the year field trip, students need to complete every monthly reading challenge.
6. CYO will be meeting tonight at St John Church at 5:30. Students 6-12 are welcome for food and games.

We will be hosting breakfast again this year. Donuts for Dads will be Tuesday September 17th, Goodies for Grandparents Tuesday October 15th and Muffins for Moms Tuesday November 19th. We encourage parents/guardians/grandparents to come in and share a breakfast with students free of charge.
There is no school Monday September 2nd in observance of Labor Day.
