1. Good luck to our JH/HS girls basketball teams as they host MPCG tonight in Hatton with the 7th grade game starting at 4pm.
2. JH/HS BBB practice will be in Northwood after school. Please make sure to clear out the boys locker room by CLT today.
3. Sources of Strength peer leaders will be meeting at 2:30 today in Ms. Wood's room.

On Tuesday, February 8th, our music teacher, Ms. Miaoqian Liu, will be performing with her Brass Quintet on the campus of Mayville State University. Mr. Strand will be driving a "fan bus" to the concert for any students of any grades wanting to attend. If your kids are interested, please call the school or email Mr. Strand at christopher.strand@hattonk12.com to let us know you are coming with! Let's show our music teacher how much she's appreciated!
Monday February 10th Announcements:
1. JH/HS GBB practice will be in Hatton after schoool.
2. JH BBB practice will be in Northwood and there is no HS practice.
3. FCCLA will be meeting during CLT today.
4. Elementary basketball will be meeting tonight in Northwood from 6:15pm-7pm. This is for boys and girls.
5. Valentine order forms and money are due by Thursday February 10th. Forms can be picked up in the office.
6. The book fair is open this week before school starting at 8am and will also be open from 3:30-8pm during conferences on Thursday.

Friday February 4th Announcements:
1. Good luck to our HS girls basketball teams as they host Warwick tonight in Northwood with the JV starting at 4:15 and the Varsity to follow. Players will be leaving at 3:20. There is no JH GBB practice.
2. Good luck to our JH/HS boys basketball teams as they travel to Larimore tonight. The 7th grade game will start at 5:30pm followed by the 8th grade and then Varsity. JH players will be leaving at 4:10pm, HS players will be leaving at 5:45pm.
3. Congratulations to the following students for being named January Students of the month: 7th & 8th Grade: Lizzie Ness; 9th & 10th Grade: Spencer Boe; 11th & 12th Grade: Sydney Jacobson. Thunder Pride winners for the month are: Brynley Coleman and Teddy Peterick.
4. Book Fair Contest Winners: How many snowballs? The answer is 197 and congratulations to Gracie Henna with a guess of 200. How many hearts? The answer is 1,187 and congratulations to Natalie Naastad with a guess of 1,248. You can collect your prize in the library.
5. There will be elementary basketball tomorrow in Northwood. The girls will be from 8-8:45am and boys from 9-9:45am.
6. There is a track and field sign-up sheet on Mrs. Soine's window. Please sign up by end of day today if you plan on participating this season.

School Canceled Tuesday, February 1st. No activities.
School and buses 2 hours late Tuesday, February 1st. Buses running where possible. School will start at 10:30am.
There has been some time changes for the boys basketball games against Midway/Minto in Hatton tonight. The JH games will start at 4pm and will be played in the new gym. The JV game will start at 4:30pm with the Varsity to follow in the main gym.
